We Meet and Exceed the Highest Standards
At Van Wyck Packaging, over 50% of our customer base are pharmaceutical companies
that require the security and segregation requirements for their printed packaging
needs.
Our formal quality system is ISO 9001:2000. However, we have tailored our procedures and practices to be cGMP compliant. We have been ISO certified since December of 1997.
Van Wyck has been producing cartons for the pharmaceutical industry (including cartons required for human injectibles) for over two decades. Years of experience have allowed us to develop and evolve our procedures to the highest standard.
Some examples of our pharmaceutical related procedures are outlined below and are available upon request:
- Pharmaceutical control procedure outlining the line clearance/segregation activity and approval process.
- Mandatory training for all employees on pharmaceutical control procedures with testing to ensure effectiveness.
- Premises procedure including items such as facility access, pest control, and cleaning procedures.
- Procedures on health and hygiene, delegation of authority, document control, and final inspection.
To provide our Pharmaceutical Customer with the Complete Package, we recently acquired a company in the Greater Toronto Area that can supply Contract Packaging. Our capabilities include blistering, bottling, card sealing, shrink-wrapping, labelling, lot and date coding, secondary packaging and distribution. Our company has its Health Canada Establishment License for Pharmaceutical Contract Packaging as well as Clinical Trial Packaging.
