Metal-Fx
Metal-FX is a unique printing process that can be used to produce up to 104 million metallic colours in one pass of a five-colour press.
Van Wyck Packaging is a Licensed Printer that has exclusive access to this new
metallic colour spectrum. We are one of the few printers that are capable of printing
this process using UV inks.
The Metal-FX metallic colour system requires only one extra ink. Specially formulated Silver ink is the first colour to be used on the press, with CMYK values then overprinted in the usual manner. The transparency of the CMYK allows the high luster Metal-FX Silver Base Ink to show through creating a wide variety of bright, shiny metallics.
It is a more economical alternative to using expensive foil substrates to achieve the same look. It also allows more creativity in graphics, as you are not limited to printing the standard metallic spot colours.

Lenticular Printing
Van Wyck Packaging has partnered with a company in France to produce the finest quality lenticular printing.
If you wish to create an impression with printing that is three-dimensional,
has movement or morphing, or has the illusion of depth, we can achieve this using
the lenticular printing process.
Through our partnership, we have access to over 20 years of experience and technology. Custom software programs have been created and developed for the digital mastering of the lenticular process. Quality Control procedures have been developed in prepress and printing to ensure the image is in perfect registration with the “lenticles” of the substrate.
With this experience and technology behind us, we can create a sharper, clearer image that is superior to our competitors.
